The Cabo Ortegal Geopark is one of UNESCO’s 195 Global Geoparks and the most recent to join the European Network, in 2023. It extends over seven municipalities in the north of A Coru\u00f1a \u2014Cari\u00f1o, Cedeira, Cerdido, Moeche, Ortigueira, San Sadurni\u00f1o and Valdovi\u00f1o\u2014 and covers 799 km\u00b2 of Atlantic coast, mountains and villages. <\/p>\n

Its uniqueness is geological and difficult to find anywhere else on the planet: in this territory, rocks that are normally found more than 70 kilometers deep outcrop at the surface, the result of the collision of supercontinents 350 million years ago. You don’t need to be a geologist to feel it. Just look at the landscape. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Casa Rodrigo<\/strong> is in San Claudio, Ortigueira, in the heart of Xeoparque.<\/p>\n

For years we have been a stopping point for those who travel through this territory \u2014 long before it had a UNESCO name, there were already people who came to eat here after climbing the Serra da Capelada.<\/p>\n

We are a partner company of the Cabo Ortegal Geopark. This means that we share its values: local products, respect for the environment, and pride in what makes this territory unique. <\/p>\n
